Uncle $crooge McDuck is waiting the arrival by boat of a jade sculture from the country Unsteadystan.
The story says this sculture is part of a shipload that Marco Polo brought back by sea

Arriving to the harbour, Uncle $crooge, Donald and the Junior Woodchucks find only in the crate a part of
the sculture initially representing an elephant : it only stays the tail... and a stowaway.
This accepts going with them and giving them some explanations. In Unsteadystan, there is
a civil war between Prince Char Ming (the good) and dictator Wahn Beeg Rhat (the bad)
After many dangers, the band manages to help Prince Char Ming and discovers the treasure.
